Videography Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book you for my wedding/event?
As soon as you have a date and a venue secured, you should consider booking with us. We do a limited amount of weddings/events per month and book those who come to us first with their deposit and signed contract. It may be possible we have availability the week before, or you could try to book a date a year from now and it will already be reserved. It's best to contact us as soon as possible.
Do you film more than one wedding/event per day?
No, we give the entire day your attention and focus solely on it.
What is your style when shooting/editing a wedding?
We tend to shoot documentary style, looking to capture events as they happen without directing or setting up shots. Our goal is to capture the natural, raw emotion and atmosphere of your wedding instead of trying to create it ourselves.
What is a wedding highlight video?
It's a series of edited video clips from your wedding day set to a song. You could call it a cinematic, artistically edited music video starring you and your guests! Your highlight video will be 3-5 minutes long making it an ideal way to share your wedding day with others. You can view examples of our wedding highlight videos on our films page.
Can I choose the music for my highlight video?
Yes. Typically we choose music for your highlight video, but you are free to choose a song from one of the following websites... www.songfreedom.com, www.marmosetmusic.com, or www.themusicbed.com.
What type of cameras do you use?
We shoot most of the video during your event on DSLR cameras in 1080p High Definition. For multi-camera setups during ceremonies and other lengthy shoots, we utilize compact HD camcorders that also film in 1080p High Definition.
Do you travel outside of the Southwest Missouri area?
Yes, we would love to travel to another location to film your event. We would require that you cover transportation and lodging costs.
When will I receive my wedding video?
We are unable to guarantee a final date since much of it depends on when your event took place during the season and we don't rush the editing process. However, on average, our turn around time is 2-4 months.
